It's a long road to the GS Trophy Competition finals. For every competitor that makes it to the International Finals to represent Team USA, 50 other competitors are left to try again next year. The cost to train, travel, and prepare for motorcycle acrobatics across unknown obstacles is the sole responsibility of each competitor. Unlike the pinnacle of other sports, there is no pot of gold at the end of the GS Trophy rainbow. Most competitors will return to their working lives, thrilled that they were even allowed to come together and compete.
The BMW MOA Foundation and the competitors for 2024 GS Trophy Competition would like to change this dynamic for US competitors. We'd like to make it possible for future competitors to train, compete, and ultimately win the International Competition for Team USA. Gifts made to this effort through the BMW MOA Foundation (a registered 501c3) will be used to fuel the 2024 team with training opportunities and pay it forward to future competitors.
